Pronounced [ˈskiːʃɜrɪŋ], or as they say in Montana "skee-jorn".

A winter sport whereby an individual on skis is towed by a horse, or other means of locomotion. The sport's name is derived from the Norwegian word skikjøring, meaning "ski driving". Some western variations in which the skier goes through a series of slaloms and jumps are commonplace at winter festivals all over the western US.
