Built in the 14th century, the Hazrat Nizamuddin Baoli is a spring-fed pool in the city of New Delhi and is purported to have healing waters. It is loved by locals and pilgrims alike, located next to the tomb/shrine of the famous saint of Sufism, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya. My visit happily coincided with New Delhi’s record breaking heatwave, and I was able to spend the afternoon capturing locals looking to escape the heat.
